Flora Bungalow

The Flora Bungalow project completely overhauled the main level of an existing home in Georgetown, Seattle. Completed in 2022, our improvements sought to fix a confused floor floor plan that had many of the public/communal functions in opposite and separate parts of the home. Our solution consolidated these core ‘public’ spaces (living, kitchen, dining) to the southwest sun-filled corner of the home. A new primary bedroom with an ensuite bath and closet was then added to the back while also leaving space for an office and 1/2 bath. Existing upgraded windows were mostly salvaged, but new exterior siding and doors added the finishing touches to this humble yet stylish bungalow that maintains the charm and character of the existing neighborhood and homes surrounding it.
